Now is the time to set some personal goals. It could be with fitness, finance or education but you need to get the ball rolling. Life doesn’t just happen to us, it is up to us to make things happen! Be open about your true feelings when asked, it won’t do anyone any favours if you continue to pretend that everything is fine.

You may not intend to upset a colleague but you will find yourself doing just that – offer a genuine apology rather than ignore your gaff.

A situation at work will bring out your fiery side but be careful that you don’t accuse the wrong person. Before you react, make sure you have all of the facts and necessary back up. You may realise that your job is no longer for you, or more likely the company is the right. Find one that will nurture and encourage independent thought.

You may find it challenging sharing your feeling with a love interest but unless you do, things won’t progress. Don’t feel like you are making yourself vulnerable, instead see it as an opportunity to bring you closer together. A new colleague will waltz into your life and become your future best friend.

Perfecting long term goals take time and patience. Nothing worth achieving comes easily and with a little more effort and commitment you will get where you want to be. In matters of the heart, ensure your core needs are met and that you meet the need of those that you love. A small flutter could make a decent return!
